Essentials of Dichroic Glass with Andrew Pollack
Essentials of Dichroic Glass with Andrew Pollack
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Dichroic glass is where science meets shimmer. In this workshop, students will explore how dichroic coatings interact with light, color, and angle—and how to use them intentionally in glasswork. We’ll cover different types of dichroic glass, basic application methods, and best practices for working with this dynamic material. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will learn how to incorporate dichroic elements into their own pieces while avoiding common pitfalls. This class focuses on experimentation, observation, and developing an eye for how light moves through glass.
Cost: $165.00 (sales tax included)
This class is made possible by a sponsorship from Coatings by Sandberg (CBS). Thanks guys!!
