Class Dates:

* Wednesday, May 1, 2024: 6pm - 9pm

* Saturday, May 4, 2024: 10am - 1pm

Level: Beginner 2/Intermediate

In this class, students will be working with borosilicate (similar to Pyrex) glass, learning the basics of sculpting with the glass on a torch. Start with fish and seaweed and other aquatic creatures. Discuss making good connections to build larger pieces from multiple assembled components. Plan on having a lot of fun and making some very cool things, too.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CLASS: If you do decide to register, you’ll need to know/bring the following:

* A pair of UV-protected sunglasses

* Tie your hair back if it’s long

* Wear comfortable, cotton clothing (synthetics are flammable) and closed-toe shoes

* Bring a bottle of water

NEW COVID POLICIES: As a general rule of thumb, please do not come to class if you know you are sick or running a fever.

PICKING UP YOUR WORK: Glass needs to cool properly so there’s a 24 hour wait time for pick up. Any work left at the studio after 30 days will be considered abandoned. For the sake of keeping our small studio spacious and organized, abandoned items will be discarded appropriately.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition IS refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled class date…at which time the entire amount becomes NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make note of this.
