In this special edition workshop, students will take the next step in developing their glassworking skills. This class builds on the basic pendant techniques learned in our Beginner Pendant class and introduces more complex methods for shaping and sculpting glass. We will cover topics such as sculptural shaping, layering, detail work, and integrating multiple elements into a single pendant. Students will also learn techniques for working with color and adding texture to create more complex designs. This workshop is ideal for those with some experience in glasswork and is focused on improving skills in borosilicate (Pyrex) glass.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CLASS: If you do decide to register, you’ll need to know/bring the following:

* Tie your hair back if it’s long

* Wear comfortable, cotton clothing (synthetics are flammable) and closed-toe shoes

* Bring a bottle of water

As a general rule of thumb, please do not come to class if you know you are sick or running a fever.

PICKING UP YOUR WORK: Glass needs to cool properly so there’s a 24 hour wait time for pick up. Any work left at the studio after 30 days will be considered abandoned. For the sake of keeping our small studio spacious and organized, abandoned items will be discarded appropriately.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition IS refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled class date…at which time the entire amount becomes NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make note of this.
