First Saturday: Open Studio - A Beadmaking and Fundraising Event to Benefit Beads of Courage

Join us on this First Saturday as we help raise funds and awareness for Beads of Courage! If you have not heard of this amazing organization, allow us to fill you in:

Beads of Courage, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit, providing arts-in-medicine programs that improve the quality of life of children who are living with serious illnesses. Colorful beads are gifted to each child to record and own their stories of courage, by honoring and acknowledging each milestone of their treatment journey. By transforming the treatment experience as a whole, Beads of Courage strives to give the gift of hope to children, who are coping with the stressors of illness, by lifting them up in positivity and restoring their sense of self. 

Our event on September 7th will give the public an opportunity to learn more about Beads of Courage, as well as participate in hands-on fundraising projects, such as bracelets, polymer clay bead-making, and sponsoring an artist-made bead that will be gifted to a child.
