Mark Morris
Mark has been a life-long learner throughout his 28 years as an artist. He received a B.A. in sculpture from UNO at age 50 and in 2020, earned an MFA in glass sculpture from Tulane at age 52! Some of his most enriching experiences have been at Pilchuck Glass School, where he’s participated in the roles of staff member, student, and teaching assistant for 11 of their summer programs. He has taught in a wide range of settings and is passionate about inclusion and representation in art education. During nine years teaching at YAYA, Mark has been fortunate to serve a diverse population of young people and adults. Thoughtout his career, he’s been building his skillsets by always maintaining his art practice while at the same time having jobs that allow him engagement with people as an art advocate and teacher.
Artist, Mark Morris, created this gorgeous, light-weight bowl, “for popcorn.” Not really (maybe?), but we think the potential functionality of the piece is pretty wide. In any case, definitely a beautiful piece to add to your home.
Bowl is approximately 11 inches in diameter and sits about 5 inches high.
Original. No duplicates.
